These girls are from Braga, they escaped from an institution in Barcelos and their families are desperate looking for them

Two girls from Braga escaped from an institution in Barcelos and are being sought by their families, who launched appeals on social media.

As O MINHO had already reported, a 14-year-old teenager, named Beatriz, had been missing since Monday, from the Barcelona institution where she was sheltered, Casa do Menino Deus.

However, it is now known that Beatriz ran away with another teenager, Catarina, aged 16, also from Braga.

“The two fled together from the institution in Barcelos: Casa do Menino Deus. And they will be with Catarina’s boyfriend, she is 16 years old and he is over 19 years old and has a registration, so anyone who knows him and has more information on his whereabouts should let us or the police know”, says Beatriz’s aunt in a Facebook post.

“It could be anywhere, we think of Braga or Porto. He has no identification or cell phone, we don’t know what clothes he was wearing, he usually wears the glasses in the photo”, says Beatriz’s aunt in the first appeal shared on social media.
