Oliveira do Hospital hosts stage of the 1st District Basketball Circuit 3×3

The municipality of Oliveira do Hospital will host, on April 24th, the 3rd stage of the 1st District Basketball Circuit 3×3 – for people with Mental Disabilities, a project that aims to “innovate the way of looking at sport and being disruptive, that is, breaking down established barriers.”

The event, which is promoted by the Coimbra Basketball Association and which has the support of ANDDI – National Sports Association for Intellectual Development, will take place between March and June in the district of Coimbra, and will be in a Circuit format. Each stage will be carried out in a different municipality, representative of the participating institutions.

In its first edition, the Circuit will feature the participation of APPACDM Coimbra, APPACDM Figueira da Foz, APPACDM Coimbra unit of Montemor-o-Velho, APPACDM Coimbra unit of Cantanhede (Tocha), ARCIAL – Oliveira do Hospital. ARCIL – Lousã and Cavalo Azul (Coimbra).

At each stage of the circuit there will be a guest institution from outside the Coimbra district to further enrich the event.
