Montalegre and Vila Real draw 0-0

In a nervous game, in which the two teams from Trás-os-Montes wanted to secure victory to guarantee their maintenance in the Portuguese Championship, the result at the Dr. Diogo Alves Vaz Pereira field was nothing more than zero on the scoreboard.

Vila Real started to put more pressure on, trying to reach the goal through Liberal (10′) and Luís Henrique (13′) who headed the ball but hit the post.

Montalegre does not allow the ball to pass through the defense and balances the game. At 19′ it was Alex who wasted, almost in front of the goalkeeper he shot but the ball went over.

In the second half, Angola’s entry shook up the game, but not enough to change the result. In the last minute of added time, a Black and White player fell in the penalty area and the team and visiting fans claimed a penalty, but the referee did not signal anything.

Vilar de Perdizes also left the decision regarding maintenance until the last game, after beating Camacha 1-0.
