The company DST, from Braga, will allocate five million euros with the construction of a new ETARI (Industrial Waste Water Treatment Station) for Volkswagen Autoeuropa, in Palmela, district of Setúbal.

In addition to the construction of the new ETARI (Industrial Waste Water Treatment Station), “completely autonomous, replacing the old one”, DST will also be in charge of “interconnection with the existing sewage network in Palmela”.

In a statement sent to O MINHO, the company states that work has already started and the reinforced concrete foundations are currently being built.

The building to be constructed will have a regular rectangular geometric shape, 60m long by 30m wide, measured between pillar axes, with 12x10m porticoes and a height of 7.5m, under the lower chord of the beam.

“DST was chosen due to its excellence in the execution of this type of buildings, which has been demonstrated and proven in recent years, being in charge of this project, which is expected to be completed in September this year, the entire process relating to civil works, as well as all fire safety work. For its execution, it relies on partnerships with several companies within the dstgroup domain, namely tgeotecnia, tagregados and tbetão”, says the company.

“DST’s vast experience, as well as the competence of our staff, are the factors that differentiate us from other competitors. This client has placed a lot of trust in DST’s work, proving this with the award of several works. We even have another project underway at the moment, which is quite challenging”, says Bruno Martins, production director for this work, quoted in the statement.

This second project in question is, as O MINHO reported, the construction of the Nova Prensa PXL Foundation for Volkswagen Autoeuropa, where the demolition work, soil containment with the execution of drying micropile columns and metal shoring have already been completed. , the activity of moving earth, walls and reinforced concrete masses.

“One of the biggest challenges of this work was the continuous concreting of more than 1000m3 of the bottom slab, with the top slab and the metal structure being built at this stage”, concludes the statement.
