DST wins five million project for Autoeuropa – Construction

Volkswagen Autoeuropa awarded another project to DST, which was chosen for the construction of a new, fully autonomous ETARI (Industrial Waste Water Treatment Station), replacing the old one, as well as its interconnection with the existing sewage network, in Palmela.

“The work has already started, with the reinforced concrete foundations currently being carried out”, reveals the group from Braga, in a statement, signaling that the work should generate a turnover of around five million euros.

Scheduled for completion next September, the work involves several companies from the DST group, namely Tgeotecnia, Tagregados and Tbetão.

According to the DST description, the building to be constructed will have a regular rectangular geometric shape, 60 meters long by 30 meters wide, measured between pillar axes, with 12x10m porticos and a height of 7.5m, under the bottom chord of the beam.

“DST’s vast experience, as well as the competence of our staff, are the factors that differentiate us from other competitors. This client has been placing a lot of trust in DST’s work, proving itself with the award of several works. , even at this moment, with another project underway, which is quite challenging”, says Bruno Martins, production director of this work.

This new project involves the construction of the Nova Prensa PXL Foundation for Volkswagen Autoeuropa, “where the demolition work, soil containment with the execution of columns of drying micropiles and metallic shoring, earthmoving activities have already been completed. , walls and reinforced concrete masses”, details the DST, emphasizing that “one of the great challenges of this work was the concreting of more than 1,000 cubic meters, continuously, of the bottom slab, with the upper slab and the metal structure”.
