On April 11th, the Viseu Higher School of Technology and Management (ESTGV) hosts Open Days organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering. Electric mobility and self-consumption are the main themes of this year’s meeting.

Several companies will participate in the initiative, which will also welcome students from secondary and professional education in the region, with a total of 300 to 400 participants. The Open Days will feature demonstrations of environmentally friendly means of transport, encouraging sustainable mobility.

Participating entities include, for example, the Visabeira Group, Siemens or the Order of Engineers.

According to the organization, the event is being “very well received, especially by secondary and professional schools, with a dozen institutions already confirming their presence”.

“We also anticipate that, given the partner companies in the event, and the theme covered, we will have a large influx of participants from the community in general”, add the promoters.

The program also includes lectures, a display of technology and knowledge, and technical experiences in a laboratory environment.
