A The Portuguese roller hockey team entered the Nations Cup in Montreux on the right foot and, this Wednesday, beat Switzerland 8-0, in a Group B game.

At the Salle Omnisports du Pierrier, in the Swiss city of Montreux, the team led by Paulo Freitas had no difficulty in beating the home team by a great result.

Gonçalo Pinto (22 minutes), Xavier Cardoso (25), Gonçalo Alves (27 and 36), the second penalty, João Rodrigues (28 and 45), Nuno Santos (29) and Hélder Nunes (47) scored the team’s goals national.

The quinas team, which has two more trophies than Spain in the competition, will play again on Thursday night, starting at 8pm, against France, coached by Nuno Lopes, who lost this Wednesday against the Spanish (2-1), in the second round of the pool.
