KLM highlighted that this increase in operations in Portugal is taking place on the connection between Porto and Amsterdam-Schiphol, between Lisbon and the company’s hub in the Netherlands, in addition to the partnership with Air France, which maintains flight services Lisbon and Porto to the hub in Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and the Faro – Paris-CDG service resumes. Direct codeshare flights are also planned, which will be provided by the joint venture between KLM and Delta Air Lines, with flights between Lisbon and New York-JFK and also Boston.
KLM plans to reach 155 destinations this summer, with 92 in Europe and 63 intercontinental. Furthermore, the airline expects a 7% increase in its flight offer in Portugal for this summer, when compared to the same period last year. This extension of the number of destinations runs between March 31st and October 26th.

In terms of offering flights in Europe and internationally, the airline is expected to increase its flight frequency in several destinations this summer.
The airline in Scandinavia has planned daily services to Billund (Denmark) and Stavanger (Norway). In Great Britain there should be an increase in the frequency of flights to Edinburgh, Newcastle, Glasgow and Southampton.
Connections to Marseille and a daily service to Nice will continue. An increase in the frequency of flights to Krakow, Gdansk and Wroclaw in Poland, and also to Prague (Czechia), is planned.
In Italy, the airline plans to increase the frequency of flights to Bologna, Florence and Genoa, in addition to increasing the frequency of flights to other destinations such as Jakarta in combination with Kuala Lumpur and Denpasar in combination with Singapore.
To this is added direct flights to Osaka and the daily service to Tokyo-Narita. An increase in the frequency of flights to Taipei, Hong Kong, Montreal, Toronto and Los Angeles is planned.
The airline announced that daily service to Tel Aviv will resume from 1 April, with the service operating via a stopover in Larnaca until 19 May.
