The airline Transavia states that Portugal should once again be one of the best performing markets, with the new summer route between Faro and Nice contributing to this.

Transavia aims to reach 3 million passengers in the Portuguese market this year, exceeding the 2.8 million transported in 2023, counting on the new Faro – Nice summer route and new A320neo aircraft.

«Portugal should once again be one of the markets with the best performance for the airline’s operations low-cost Dutch company, which operates independently from the Air France–KLM Group to/from France, but also to/from the Netherlands and Belgium,” the airline said in a statement.

Transavia is about to open the new seasonal connection between Faro and Nice in the summer, which falls within the «development focus in the Côte d’Azur region», Nicolas Hénin, said the executive vice-president of sales and marketing.

Remember that, according to the official, «Nice is becoming an increasingly important base» for the Transavia network, so this new route fits «perfectly into the airline’s development focus» in the region .

Tickets can now be purchased online.
