The Algarve company Visualforma provided five laptops to the University of Algarve, to be used by students who are in a situation of greater social vulnerability and economic need, allowing these students to continue their academic training in circumstances of equality and equity.

As part of its social responsibility, the company provided the aforementioned equipment that will be available to UAlg’s social action services, and will be provided to students, as a loan.

Considering the various requests that have been reported for support in terms of IT equipment, the management of the Faculty of Science and Technology and the social action services of the University of Algarve contacted companies in the region to provide equipment, encouraging its reuse and sustainability, highlights the academy’s note.

Students who meet the conditions and are interested will be able to contact social action services.
