The Almada City Council (CMA) informs on its website that, due to the holding of the concert commemorating the 25th of April, there will be restrictions and restrictions on road circulation in the vicinity of Parque Urbano Comandante Júlio Ferraz and Praça da Liberdade, between Wednesday and Friday. April 24th and Thursday the 25th.
The locations covered are:
– Circulation and parking restrictions on Rua da Padaria Portuguesa, between 8am on the 24th and 2pm on the 25th;
– Praça S. João Baptista and RD Francisco Xavier de Noronha, with occasional traffic cuts between 2pm and 7pm on the 24th;
– Avenida D. Nuno Álvares Pereira – Praça MFA and in the opposite direction and; Rua Padre António Vieira with restricted traffic between 7pm and 8pm, prohibited traffic between 8pm and 1am and, again restricted traffic between 1am and 2am;
– Rua Garcia de Orta, after entering Braga Parques, with traffic prohibited between 7pm and 2am;
– Rua Garcia de Orta, until the entrance to Braga Parques, with restricted traffic between 7 pm and 11:50 pm, prohibited traffic between 11:50 pm and 12:20 am and, restricted traffic again between 12:20 am and 2 am;
– Comandante Júlio Ferraz Urban Park, with pedestrian access prohibited between 5pm and 1am;
– Av. Rainha D. Leonor, with traffic prohibited between 11:50 pm and 12:20 am, or for the period strictly necessary;
– Pingo Doce Supermarket, with conditioning in the loading and unloading area between 8pm and 1am;
-McDonalds restaurant, with conditioning and prohibition on the circulation of “UberEats” vehicles between 7pm and 2am;
-Batikanos Restaurant, with restricted use of the terrace area between 11pm and 12:30am;
-Sushicome Almada Restaurant, with restricted use of access to the outside through the rear door facing the Urban Park, between 11pm and 12:30am.
As in previous years and due to the show, the existing Taxi Rank Rua Garcia de Orta, next to McDonalds, will be moved to Rua São Salvador da Baía, next to the Sommer Shopping Center.
The mobile ecocenter that was located in Praça S. João Baptista was removed in advance and will be available again for public use at the beginning of May in Praça da Portela, in Laranjeiro, as scheduled.

Public road transport will also be affected by these restrictions and traffic cuts due to the 25th of April celebrations.
Thus, lines 3009, 3012, 3014 and 3708 on the night of April 24th to 25th, between 7pm and 2:30am, will have traffic diversions at Praça S. João Batista and Praça da Liberdade. In the direction of Cacilhas, the alternative route will be along Rua Mendo Gomes de Seabra, Rua Capitão Leitão, Rua da Sociedade Filarmónica Incrível Almadense and Rua Bernardo Francisco da Costa. Departing from Cacilhas, the route will take you along Rua Fernão Lopes, Avenida Dom João I and Rua Mendo Gomes de Seabra. Line 3703 Almada (Parque Urbano) – Lisbon (Areeiro) will have an alternative route, along Rua Pedro Nunes and Avenida Rainha Dona Leonor.
