Forum Coimbra, one of the largest shopping centers in the Centro region, celebrates today its 18th anniversary since its inauguration on April 26, 2006. Over these 18 years of activity, the center managed by Multi Portugal has received more than 135 millions of visitors, consolidating itself as an important driver of the regional economy.
Equipped with 141 stores, which include the main food and non-food retail, restaurant and entertainment brands in Portugal, Forum Coimbra provides almost 1,700 jobs, contributing significantly to the economic and social dynamism of the region.
To mark this anniversary, the shopping center has been holding a series of celebrations since yesterday, all of them inspired by Spring and nature, reflecting the motto of “coming of age” reached by Forum Coimbra. The main institutional event takes place today, starting at 4pm, at Praça Terra, on Floor 1, with the presence of the center’s director, João Vaz, and the Forum Coimbra ambassador, Iva Lamarão.
One of the distinctive features of this celebration is the transformation of the shopping center into a true garden of colors and aromas, with the installation of 10,000 plants of natural flowers and 120 paper flowers, demonstrating Forum Coimbra’s commitment to sustainability, one of the fundamental values of Forum Coimbra. brand.
In addition to the festivities, Forum Coimbra is investing in its future, with the introduction of new emblems, some exclusive to the Center region, and improvements to facilities, including the renovation of the outdoor garden, currently underway since Christmas.
