Gwyneth Paltrow lived Pepper Potts in the first Iron Man and played the character in all of his appearances, the last of which took place in Avengers: Endgame 2019. The actress has already spoken a few times about her opinion of superhero films, but in her participation in Hot Ones she said that it is only possible to make a certain number of these films that are good and original.

During the program Paltrow he said:

“I think the industry as a whole is in this big push to make superhero movies, I mean, you can only make so many of these films that are good and truly original. And yet they are always trying to reach as many people as possible, which in some cases can affect quality. I grew up making mid-budget films and sometimes I lament the fact that I look at some films I made in the 90s and think, that wouldn’t get made today. I think you have more diversity in art when there is less at stake and people can express their true voice and make the film they want to make, and those are the ones that resonate the most.”
