Pepper Potts debuted in the franchise led by Kevin Feige in 2008, in Iron Man. The character, initially Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) personal assistant, became the hero’s wife and head of Stark Industries, in addition to assuming the superheroic identity of Rescue in Ultimatum.
