The Logan actress will play a dedicated Padawan in the Disney+ production
Actress Dafne Keen, known for her work in Logan (2017) and His Dark Materialsis the highlight of the new images of The Acolytenext series of Star Wars at the Disney+. The records were released by Entertainment Weekly.
In both photos, Keen appears characterized as Jecki Lonone Padawan which promises to play a decisive role in the plot as she becomes involved in a threat to Jedi Order.

Dafne Keen plays Jecki Lon in The Acolyte.
Padawan Jecki Lon will be an important piece of the plot.
In an interview with E.W.Dafne Keen spoke a little about her character, saying that Jecki is “a very dedicated Padawan”. The actress also commented on the young woman’s relationship with her Jedi Master, who is played by actor Lee Jung-jae:
“I think they have a very sweet relationship, but she is much more aware of the difference in authority than, for example, Obi-Wan and Anakin. She’s like, ‘He’s my Master and I’m his Padawan, and he’s perfect. And I have to follow everything he says.”
Developed by Leslie Headlandin Russian doll, The Acolyte is set many years before the events narrated in Star Wars. The series will address the rise of Sith during the time of High Republic.
In addition to Dafne Keen and Lee Jung-jae, the production features Amandla Stenberg (Hunger Games), Carrie-Anne Moss (matrix), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place) and much more in the cast.
The Acolyte debut on the day June 4 at the Disney+.
