‘Neuromancer’: ‘Benders of the Air’ Callum Turner to Star in Apple TV+ Adaptation

According to deadline, Callum Turner (‘Masters of the Air’) will be the protagonist of the series’Neuromancer‘, which is being developed by Apple TV+.

The plot follows Henry Case, a failed hacker hired for “one last job”, which puts him in contact with powerful artificial intelligence. He is thrust into a complicated game of digital espionage and high-stakes crime with his partner Molly, a mirror-eyed assassin, aiming to pull off a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.

The production is based on the iconic sci-fi cyberpunk novel written by William Gibsonin 1984.

10 episodes were ordered for the first season.

JD Dillard (‘Sleight: The Perfect Trick’) and Graham Roland (‘Fringe’) will be responsible for the script.

Dillard will also direct the first episode, while Roland will be the showrunner.

The project is the result of a partnership between the streaming platform and producers Skydance Television It is Anonymous Content. Furthermore, the singer Drake will be one of the executive producers, through his company, Anonymous Content.
