Rede FM O Dia, led by FM O Dia FM 100.5 in Rio de Janeiro, confirmed to the newsroom the tudoradio.com the debut date of its new affiliate. The future FM O Dia 102.5 from Cabo Frio (RJ), a city in the region known as the Lagos Region, will be integrated into the network on April 3rd. Initially the premiere was scheduled for the 28th.
According to information gathered by the editors of the tudoradio.com, the new affiliate will occupy the 102.5 FM frequency, a station that was operating as Nossa Rádio FM, a popular format project that has already been moved to the 88.7 FM frequency. Since last week, FM O Dia started to run an expectation grid on 102.5 FM, as already reported by Tudoradio.com Update Map.
The arrival of FM O Dia in the Lagos Region will significantly increase the reach of the state’s brand. The radio is a class A1 operating station, originating in Arraial do Cabo and has reception in Armação de Búzios, Araruama, Iguaba Grande, Saquarema, among others.
In January, the network launched the FM O Dia FM 92.9 from Três Rios (RJ). The affiliate reaches cities between mountain region of Rio de Janeiroas well as some municipalities in the Mata Mineira Zone, such as Juiz de Fora (MG). The station, which is identified by Anatel (National Telecommunications Agency) as operating class A1worked from 2002 to 2023 as an affiliate of the network led by Jovem Pan FM 100.9 in São Paulo.
With the expansion, FM O Dia is undergoing an update to its list of stations, which are present in São Gabriel da Cachoeira-AM (92.7 FM), Três Rios-RJ (92.9 FM), Manaus-AM (93.1 FM) , Maués-AM (97.9 FM), Presidente Figueiredo-AM (98.1 FM), Macaé-RJ (99.7 FM), Rio de Janeiro-RJ (100.5 FM) and Cuiabá-MT (103.7 FM).
