It’s worth remembering that Josh’s time with A Perfect Circle opened countless doors for the drummer. Until then, he didn’t have the same level of fame, but he had already played with his first project (The Vandals) and other larger ones, such as one-off shows with the Owe.

Josh Freese celebrated his return to A Perfect Circle

On Instagram, Freese celebrated his return to A Perfect Circle and also said that, in addition to Olsen, Tim Alexanderdrummer of Primusyou can fill your absence:

I’m happy to report that for the first time in 13 years, I’ll be heading out with A Perfect Circle on the upcoming ‘Sessanta’ tour. Due to my schedule with the Foo Fighters, I will have to leave after the Hollywood Bowl on April 20th. Gunnar from Puscifer will take my place for the remaining dates (maybe a little Tim Alexander too?). There’s a chance I might be able to appear on another show or two after this, time permitting, but for now that’s the plan. Perfect Circle has always been a very special band to me and I’m really looking forward to getting out and playing these songs again.

It will be very special!
