Bush fronted Anthrax from 1992 to 2005, leaving when the band reunited with Joey Belladonna for a 20th anniversary tour. When the relationship between them soured and his successor, Dan Nelson, also left, Bush was back for some time, until Belladonna resumed the role again in 2010.

“There’s something weird on Wikipedia or somewhere that says I’m worth, like, $40 million. And some of my friends are always teasing me about it. ‘So where’s my money?’ I just laugh, I’m a long way from that. I’d like to. But it’s a joke, like, wow! Then he amends: “I mean, don’t get me wrong, we’re fine”referring to the Armored Saint. “We go on the road, we sell merchandise and we’re good. But when we come back, we pay the bills and then we’re like, ‘Damn, where did the money go?’, like everyone else who survives and just lives their lives. But the music is, I think, a huge catalyst. And I know this might sound corny – ‘We do it for the music’ – but that’s really the main reason. We love playing these songs and our records. And when someone tells me that this song on this record really touched them, that’s enough for me. That’s the real reason”.
