Well, Benfica and PV Colégio Efanor put on a great show in the decisive game of the Portuguese women’s volleyball cup, with the red club managed to win 3-2 and take this trophy back to your museum, 50 years after the last achievement in the race.
Benfica entered the court with the desire to show what they were capable of. Despite the balance in the first set, the eagles really came out smiling, as they managed to win by 25-22. Visibly motivated, the team led by Rui Moreira was even more dominant in the second set, having achieved an advantage of 25-18.
At a time when the fans who went to the Viana do Castelo Cultural Center might have thought that the red team would achieve a quiet victory, PV Colégio Efanor showed all its value and achieved a recovery worthy of note.
