O Al Nassr had no plans and, on Tuesday night, he completely destroyed Abha Club with an 8-0 defeat. In what was a game valid for the 26th round of the Saudi championship, Cristiano Ronaldo was the figure of this Saudi nightmare.
The Portuguese international was involved in five of his team’s eight goals in this game, contributing a hattrick and two assists.
In the space of ten minutes, the captain of the Riyadh team scored twice (11′ and 21′), before scoring the third in the 42nd minute. In between, the Portuguese international set up Sadio Mané for Al Nassr’s third (33′), before scoring twice in assists and setting up Al Sulaiheem for the fifth goal of the match (44′).
Without Cristiano Ronaldo on the field, as Luís Castro rested him at half-time, Otávio set up Ghareeb for Al Nassr’s sixth goal (51′). Al Elewai, who was also introduced at half-time, closed the final result with a brace (63′ and 86′).
All things considered, Al Nassr holds second place with 62 points, 12 behind leader Al Hilal, led by Jorge Jesus and Rúben Neves, who triumphed against Al-Akhdoud. Abha Club remains in the relegation zone and is ranked 17th with 22 points.
