It’s already official: Ana Teles will continue his career serving the Djurgarden. The young 23-year-old winger was announced this Wednesday as a reinforcement for the squad that plays in the top tier of Swedish football.
The Portuguese under-23 international recently left Sporting, which she represented since 2021. This season, Ana Teles played in 11 games for the Leonine club, a number well below the numbers of previous seasons.
National champion with SC Braga in 2018/19, Ana Teles will have her first experience abroad and is the second Portuguese player to head to Sweden during this season. Recently, Mafalda Barboz also left Valadares Gaia to sign for Malmö, who plays in the second tier.
The season in Sweden is still at an early stage. Ana Teles arrives at Djurgarden at a time when the team occupies third place in Damallsvenskan after two rounds.
