The person writing it is Michael Schmidt, a renowned journalist at AMuS, who also adds that although Newey’s contract with Red Bull runs until the end of 2025, apparently there are clauses that allow him to leave the contract and Newey has chosen to terminate it and head to Ferrari at the end of this season.
