WhatsApp tests sticker creator on Android

After launching an update that makes it possible to create personalized stickers on iOS, WhatsApp has finally released the feature on Android. As reported by WABetaInfo, the new feature appeared in version 2.24.6.5 Beta of the operating system and is gradually being released to users of the experimental program.

  • The tool allows users to create personalized stickers from their own images;
  • The feature eliminates the need for third-party applications to create the famous stickers;
  • On iOS, the new feature arrived in January;
  • In short, it is now possible to create stickers within WhatsApp itself, both on iOS and Android — although on the latter, it is still only for Beta users.

According to the website WABetaInfo, just like iOS, the experimental WhatsApp version for Android allows you to convert images from your cell phone’s library into stickers.
