A One UI 6.1.1 will have as one of its main highlights AI features for videos. At least, that’s what a recent leak indicates regarding the next interface update developed by Samsung. However, it is not known for sure what these features will be present in the brand’s software.

So far, rumors talk about the implementation of a function that resembles Sora, developed by OpenAI. For those who don’t know, this is a model that allows the user to create videos using text commands and which should have its public launch in 2024.

In other words, this is what we see a lot with models that generate text-based images, but are used for videos. Furthermore, no other details were mentioned about the implementation of AI functions for this type of media, so it is necessary to continue watching to see if the rumors become reality.

Currently, the Galaxy S24 line already has Instant Slow-mo, an AI feature that allows users to play videos from the gallery at a slower speed. It remains to be seen what AI resources Samsung will be able to implement in the system to create or even edit videos on devices with One UI 6.1.1.

However, it is worth mentioning that these are still just rumors about the addition of these features and they may never reach cell phones. Meanwhile, there are also rumors about One UI 7.0, which could bring back the vertical app drawer.
