Bem Viver program premieres on TV Brasil

Good Living, a program from Brazil in fact and from TVT Network about a lighter and more sustainable world, premieres on TV Brasil, this Monday (4), at 6:30 am. The production is already on seven educational broadcasters across the country and is now gaining national projection through the public broadcaster.

The program seeks to promote healthy eating and habits, as well as well-being, culture and popular health. Its main objective is to promote agroecology, agrarian reform and rural settlements initiatives, both for rural and urban residents.

Antonia Pellegrino, director of content and programming at Empresa Brasileira de Comunicação (EBC), highlights the importance of the program’s content for the broadcaster’s population and audience.

“We are very happy to have the program Good Living on the grid TV Brasil, composing a schedule dedicated to themes of Brazilian agriculture, family farming and the Brazilian countryside, which is such a relevant topic for so many people in our population and is a topic that generates a lot of interest among our audience. We believe that it is very important to have this program with an eye on this diversity of approaches to the field, making up this grid”, he points out.

The program has been on screen since 2021, but began in 2018, in radio format. For Nina Fidelis, executive director of Brazil in factoccupying this space on the station is another step in consolidating the popular communication project in reflecting structural themes for the country from the perspective of the flags of popular and workers movements.

“We are very happy that public TV, which is guided by the interest of the Brazilian population, shows interest and makes efforts in disseminating this content. It is a program that shows the tip of several processes, which are permeated by struggles of popular movements. So when we talk about organic food on the population’s table, we are talking about a debate about means of production, how it is produced, access to land. It is very important that we do not dissociate these themes, which we focus on Good Living as a result of struggles that are structural for the Brazilian population. May this new partnership help us build channels for a more representative good life”, he says.

In the presentation, the one who plays the good prose is Lucas Weber, graduated in journalism from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and who has spent time on the podcast Behind the Foodfrom the Public Agency It is Reporter BrazilIt is The Trees We Are Nutsof Greenpeace Brazil.

At the Brazil in fact since 2020, he is also the presenter of the radio version of Good Livingwhich airs from Monday to Friday on Current Brazil Radioin Greater São Paulo, and on partner stations across the country through Rádio Agência Brasil de Fato.

“I think it’s been a great asset to the Brazil in fact to do this double with which the Good Living on TV and radio have this same figure, which is actually me with a huge, extremely dedicated team. We achieve this main objective, which is to produce a production that speaks to people, that dialogues with them, that achieves what we need to build a fairer society, promoting agroecology, with everyone’s right to eat healthily, with poison-free foods”, highlights Weber.

The program also features the seasoning and flavor of Real Foodrecipe board, in partnership with Gastronomia Periférica (GP), a social business that seeks to transform the lives of people on the outskirts through gastronomy.

The person bringing the delicious dishes, with ingredients straight from agrarian reform through Armazém do Campo, is chef Gema Soto, a former student of the project.
