A student from The Future School, a robotics school in São José do Rio Preto/SP, won the gold medal in the Marathon Tech, a competition that aims to awaken students’ interest in technology. Caetano Pieralisi, 14 years old, studies at the robotics school and was among the 10 best in the country.

The Marathon was attended by 184,000 students from all regions of the country. In the first phase, Caetano presented a lecture on the professions of the future and in the second, he had to answer several questions about the pillars of computational thinking. “Winning the gold medal at the Tech Marathon meant a lot to me, both in my professional life, due to the highlight and curricular difference, but also in my personal life, with the interpersonal relationships and friends from different parts of Brazil that I met at the awards ceremony. . Because it was a surprise to win a medal of this representation in the biggest technology competition between schools in the country, I consider this to be, without a doubt, one of the greatest achievements of my life”, says Caetano.

The young man says that his passion for technology began in 2018. “I discovered The Future School through a pamphlet, there I learned about the opportunities that technology can provide, and with the content and courses offered by them, I strengthened my knowledge in the area, which certainly helped me a lot in the competition. The support from the beginning from João and the entire team at The Future really encouraged me to seek knowledge and prominence in the area of technology and innovation, and for that I am very grateful to them”, he says.

The parents of the Tech Marathon winner show pride in their son’s achievement. “Caetano winning the gold medal was a surprise, not because I didn’t believe he was prepared for it, but because we knew that the Tech Marathon was a very big event, and we always knew that he was a boy who had He had many qualities and was very prepared, but when his gold medal came, it confirmed that he is bigger than we imagined. He thinks, perhaps, that it is the greatest achievement of his life, I think it was just the first of many great achievements of his!”, says his mother, Francine Pieralisi. “I was incredibly proud of my son for winning this medal at the Tech Marathon. It is the result of your effort, dedication and passion for continuous learning. This achievement not only demonstrates his talent, but also his commitment to achieving academic and professional success. As an executive in the recruitment and selection area, I know the importance of such an achievement on his CV and I am excited to see what the future holds for him.”, says his father, Flávio Sambatti.

The director of The Future School, João Aleixo, says that Caetano always demonstrated a natural curiosity beyond the classroom, presenting extra robotics projects or applications that he developed during vacation periods or between classes. “All this interest and dedication combined with incredible family support could only result in a brilliant boy. Cae’s parents, since the beginning of our family/school relationship, have always demonstrated that they understood the value of investing in a quality education for Cae. I really like the phrase that says ‘the champion is not surprised’, because only the winner knows everything he had to go through to win his title and with Cae it was no different. Cae has been studying technology with us since he was 8 years old and, with a lot of effort, study, dedication, patience and family support, and today, at 14 years old, he is conquering his space in the world. I’m very proud of him and I’m sure this is the beginning of a great and very successful journey”, he reports.

João Aleixo also details how the school that prepared the champion works. “The Technology Training we offer here at The Future School is very complete, as it encompasses the 3 main areas of this market (Robotics, Games & Apps) in an intelligent and modular way. I’m biased when I say this, but I consider our teaching method to be the icing on the cake, as it allows students to follow the path they like most, focusing on the most interesting content for them, in addition to respecting each child’s time and individualities. or teenager. Our classes are for the student and not for the class and this means that the child has a much higher level of interest and immersion than in schools with conventional methods. Finally, our content is developed by people who are connected and linked to what is trending in the job market, which is why our intermediate and advanced level students learn professional market tools, that is, content that they would only see in technical courses or universities start to be introduced around the age of 12-14”, he explains.

The Future School is located at Rua Generosa Bastos, 3518, in São José do Rio Preto/SP. To find out more, visit the school’s website or check out its Instagram page.
