A 35-year-old app driver and cultural producer was found dead, on Monday afternoon (25), in Duque de Caxias, Baixada Fluminense. The crime suspects were arrested.
Rodrigo Sararolli Ouriques disappeared last Saturday (23), while working and running on the app.
According to family members, Ouriques was a resident of Niterói and his last contact was when he was in the Jardim Catarina neighborhood, in São Gonçalo, heading towards Niterói. However, he did not return home.
The body of the cultural producer was found with marks of being beaten on a street in the Taquara neighborhood, in Duque de Caxias. The Military Police said they arrived at the scene after receiving complaints.
The Hotline even published a missing persons poster asking for information on the whereabouts of Ouriques.
Also on Monday (25), the police arrested the suspects of the crime. The victim’s cell phone was in the possession of one of the men.
At the police station, they told where Ouriques’ car, a Chevrolet Prisma, was hidden. The Civil Police did not say where the car was or whether it had been inspected.
The Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF) will investigate the case. The main line of investigation is robbery, robbery followed by death.
