A young man, aged 20, was almost shot dead on Sunday night (31), on Rua P8, located in Bairro Esperança, in Chapadão do Sul.
According to the incident report, the Military Police were called to go to the address. Upon arrival, the military was informed that the victim had been helped by members of the public to the municipal hospital.
For the police, witnesses said that two men passed by the place and fired shots at the boy, who ended up being hit in the leg. Afterwards, the perpetrators fled in a black Volkswagen Gol, taking an unknown direction.
In conversation with the garrison, the victim managed to identify one of the perpetrators. During a check on the system, the police found several entries in the boy’s name, for drug trafficking, possession of a firearm and suspected of having participated in recent homicides in the city, as a result of an attack on a dam by a rival group.
Police teams began investigations throughout the region to try to locate the perpetrators. The case was then registered as simple attempted homicide.
