The new Government, led by Luís Montenegro, will take office today, at 6 pm, at the Ajuda National Palace, in Lisbon. It should be remembered that Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Republic, approved the proposal of the XXIV Constitutional Government, composed of 17 new ministers.

The Prime Minister, Luis Montenegroand the 17 new ministers of the XXIV Constitutional Government will take office today, at 6 pm, at the Ajuda National Palace.

This is the third executive that Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will take office, the first being led by the PSD.

COMPOSITION LIST

The proposal received by Marcelo will have two ministers of State: Paulo Rangelformer Euro deputy, as Minister of State and Foreign Affairs and Joaquim Miranda Sarmentoprofessor, finance assistant and deputy, as Minister of State and Finance.

António Leitão Amarovice-president of the PSD, was appointed as minister of the Presidency.

As deputy minister of Territorial Cohesion, he was Manuel Castro Almeidaformer general secretary of the PSD, appointed.

Pedro Duarte Jurist was appointed Minister of Parliamentary Affairs.

He was chosen as Minister of National Defense Nuno Melocurrent president of the CDS-PP.

When it comes to the position of Minister of Justice, the name of Rita comes up Judice.

Margarida Blascojudge, was appointed Minister of Internal Administration.

Fernando Alexandre was appointed to the position of Minister of Education, Science and Innovation.

Ana Paula Martinswith a degree in pharmaceutical sciences, was appointed Minister of Health.

Miguel Pinto Luzvice-president of the Cascais Chamber, was appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Housing.

He was chosen as Minister of Economy Pedro Reispresident of the Diaspora Advisory Council.

Maria Palma Ramalhofull professor, was appointed Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security.

The Euro MEP, Maria Da Graça Carvalhowas chosen for the position of Minister of Environment and Energy.

Margarida Balseiro Lopesjurist, was appointed Minister of Youth and Modernization.

As Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, he was appointed José Manuel Fernandes.

And finally, Delilah Rodrigueswas elected as Minister of Culture.

The President of the Republic gave the green light to the list presented by Luís Montenegro and which will be finalized with the Secretaries of State who will take office on April 5th.
