The curious thing is that the Xiaomi factory located in Beijing is not yet 100% complete. In the first stage, the manufacturer foresees an annual capacity of 150 thousand vehicles, but already has plans to increase production to 300 thousand units.

The cluster is 100% digital and measures 7 inches, in addition to containing a McLaren-like trick, in this case, the panel rotates, activating a sport mode, where it only shows the sedan’s speed and rev counter.

With a sporty look, the steering wheel has three spokes, the model also has a Nappa leather steering wheel with holders for tablets, smartphones and other equipment.

As Mobiauto already mentioned at first, the SU7 has an exotic functionality, it can connect with various electronics, such as a vacuum cleaner.

Keeping an eye on the Tesla Model 3

Apple recently announced that it will no longer produce the iCar, which would be its first car. With this, Xiaomi’s focus was on beating the Tesla Model 3 specifically.

One of the biggest proofs of this was precisely the price offered. According to Lei Jun, CEO of the manufacturer, the value of the vehicle was decided one night before the launch, to impact sales of the Model 3, Xiaomi decided to set the entry price costing 30,000 yuan (around R$21,000) less than the Tesla vehicle.
