O WhatsappO Instagram and the Facebook presents instability around the world this Wednesday, 3. According to users, it is not possible to send, receive and, sometimes, view messages on the platform.
In addition to comments on Twitter about the problem on the neighboring network, there were complaints on the Downdetector platform, where people can register service complaints: the peak was at 3:06 pm (Brasília time).
The company has not yet commented on the service outage. Other Meta services, such as Instagram and Facebook, also have difficulty accessing by users. On Downdetector, both social networks show a spike in complaints. The main complaint on these networks is that the photo and news feed appears unavailable.
Furthermore, according to the website WaBetainfospecialized in messenger Mark Zuckerberg, the instability was caused by a server error, which is already being repaired by Meta, as some people are having the service reestablished. Still, editing some tools, such as reading view and status, may be unavailable for a while longer.
Through X, WhatsApp informed that it is aware of the problems faced in the messenger and that it is working to resolve the situation as “as quickly as possible”. The company did not, however, disclose the cause of the fall.
