O Israeli Minister of National Security, Ben Gvir, was hospitalized this Friday after his car collided with another vehicle in Ramla.

According to witnesses cited by the Times of Israel, the minister, who belongs to the far-right Jewish National Front party, did not respect traffic rules and you will have passed a red light.

The minister suffered minor injuries and, according to his office, is conscious and in good condition, but remains hospitalized.

In total, there were three injuries.

Authorities are investigating the causes of the accident.

It’s not Ben Gvir’s first accident (or red light)

This is not the first time that the minister has been involved in an accident – and for the same reasons. Last August, the vehicle in which Gvir was traveling on his way to an interview ran a red light, causing an accident. At the time, the car driven by its driver collided with a vehicle where a family was traveling. No one was injured, but authorities said there was “no possible justification.”

According to the Hebrew media, the person responsible repeatedly gives instructions to his driver not to comply with traffic rules.

The vehicle overturned, and the images circulated on social media:
