A 32-year-old man was killed with a stab wound to the chest on Manhuaçu Street, in the Marimbá neighborhood, in Betim, Greater Belo Horizonte, this Saturday (27). The victim’s brother tried to help her, but she died on the way to the hospital.
According to information from the incident report, the Military Police (PM) were called to help a man with a stab wound. At the scene, the military found the man lying on the ground on the sidewalk with a stab wound to the chest, but still alive.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called, but the victim’s brother put her in the car and headed towards the ambulance, under the escort of the police vehicle.
Upon meeting the ambulance, the team provided first assistance, however, the victim died at the scene.
Forensics and the hearse were called.
The crime
To the police, the victim’s wife reported that they were drinking at home when the 41-year-old author, who knew her husband, knocked on the door, showing signs of drunkenness, and began to insult him.
They started fighting and the victim punched the suspect in the face. At the time, according to her, the suspect said he was going to leave, but would come back to kill him.
A few minutes later they met on the street, started fighting again and the perpetrator hit the victim in the stomach – he fled the scene on foot.
The police are looking for the suspect.
