This Thursday, a council meeting ratified the decision to open a public tender for the construction of yet another multi-family building at affordable prices, this time located in Barão de São João.

With a base price of €807,500, this project will make it possible to add six T2 and T3 dwellings to the municipal housing stock and contribute to strengthening the public response aimed at the most pressing needs felt in the municipality.

The building, to be built on lot 23 of the Barão de São João municipal subdivision, is foreseen in the Local Housing Strategy and is part of the Lagos municipality’s candidacy for the 1st Law Program (state program financed with funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan ), being part of the group of the first 47 homes to be allocated, out of a total of 260 new affordable homes that will be built. The global investment reaches 48 million euros.
