Afonso Pimentel was the guest on the Podcast Francisco Balsemão – ‘Generation 80’ – on March 21st. In the conversation, the 41-year-old actor spoke about the difficult phases that he had as a teenager, parental protection and, furthermore, your passion for motorbikes.

He started by talking about his desire to have brothers, which fueled his rebellion. “A rebellion from an only child who didn’t want to be an only child”, he recalls. Raised with a neighbor until he was 10, she was the closest he had to a sister.

Born and protected in Príncipe Real, the actor attended schools until fourth grade. “Then, suddenly, my parents bought a house in Amadora and I left school to be dropped off at an official school and then I realized that I was a little spoiled. Those first two years were tough and I think my more rebellious side appeared there”evaluates.

“My rebellion has always been to say my opinion. My parents always told me to say everything I thought, as long as it wasn’t rude. I don’t think I always succeeded”, takes on. Afonso Pimentel revealed that, after the fourth year and with the desire to impose himself, he did things that he is not proud of and that he should not have done.

“When you feel like a misfit, you go through a less cool phase where you also experience power and aggression to balance yourself. There are things I’m not proud of having done, but I had to do them to understand my space”, also justifies the actor from ‘Senhora do Mar’, mentioned by ‘Nova Gente’.
