Washington and Kiev want quick approval of additional support

The heads of North American and Ukrainian diplomacy agreed this Saturday on the need for the United States to quickly release additional support of 275 million euros for Ukraine.

For his part, Minister Dmytro Kuleba highlighted “the need and urgency for continued support from the US and the international community to Ukraine, including air defense and artillery ammunition”.

“We discussed ways to move forward to approve the extremely necessary supplement”, said the Ukrainian official, on his account on the X social network.

“Ukraine has repeatedly demonstrated in recent years that, with sufficient support, we can defeat Russia on the battlefield,” he said, warning that a halt to support “would seriously undermine U.S. leadership around the world and endanger security.” American national”.

Dmytro Kuleba also warned that Russia cannot be allowed to use “delays in aid to move forward, putting the whole of Europe and the democratic world at risk of an even bigger war”.

The US also praised the Ukrainian government for implementing “the anti-corruption reforms necessary to advance its Euro-Atlantic integration”, said Matthew Miller.
