O French president, Emmanuel Macron, takes part this Wednesday in a Variétés CF charity football match, in favor of hospitalized children. The game takes place at the Bernard Giroux stadium, in Plaisir, on the outskirts of Paris.
In addition to the head of state, there are other renowned personalities who put on their boots and took the field.
Among them, national coach Didier Deschamps, coaches Rudi Garcia and Laurent Blanc and Eden Hazard, as well as Samuel Eto’o, Sonny Anderson and Emmanuel Adebayor.
First Lady Brigitte Macron is also present at the event.
The Variétés CF game raised 57,500 euros which will be donated to the Hospitals Foundation, to help hospitalized children, with the traditional giant check being placed on the pitch.
