The Dow Jones index and the S&P500 registered losses at the opening of the session, while the Nasdaq registered a slight gain.

The New York Stock Exchange opened the session in mixed territory.

The Dow Jones index fell 0.10% to 39,005.50 points and the S&P500 fell 0.19% to 5,155.28 points. The Nasdaq advances 0.05% to 16,186.55 points.

Market analyst at Millennium Investment Banking, Ramiro Loureiro, states that “Wall Street is preparing for a slightly higher start, judging by the behavior of the futures market on the main stock indices, despite a first negative reaction to the revelation that North American producer prices increased more than expected in February, indicating higher-than-expected inflationary pressures. However, the information seems to have been assimilated and it is the business flow that justifies more disparate reactions”.

“It is good to note the significant appreciation of UiPath, a company linked to Artificial Intelligence and which is included in the TOP GROWTH tab of its trading station and stock market app, and which is encouraged by the presentation of accounts. Robinhood and Weibo are other highlights. In the opposite direction, Tesla feels pressure from more evaluation and recommendation cuts. SentinelOne and Under Armor are punished by results”, highlights the analyst.

In the oil market, the Texas WTI rises 1.82%, setting the price per barrel at 81.16 dollars and Brent gains 1.50% to 85.29 dollars. Natural gas adds 1.93% to 1.69 dollars.

In the foreign exchange market, the euro depreciates 0.48% against the dollar, settling at 1.0894 dollars.
