Thais Vasconcellos spoke out for the first time since the fight between the singer Ferrugem, her husband, and Ludmilla began. She used her Instagram in the early hours of Tuesday, the 19th, to demonstrate her outrage at the leak of the video that criticizes Lud.

The disagreement between Ferrugem and Ludmilla began after the couple released a video criticizing the funk singer. Initially, it was posted on Thais’ private account, but a follower shared it. Rust criticizes Lud’s success and calls her a “pothead”.

A follower of Ferrugem’s wife said: “I’m f…f… *, wanting to know who was the y… who leaked it and took it completely out of context. Hate.” Thais responded by saying “Calm down my sister, here it is done, here it is paid”, demonstrating that she was calm with the repercussion of the comments.

The controversy began when Thaís Vasconcellos, wife of singer Ferrugem, published a video in which he commented on Ludmilla in a way that many considered pejorative.

In the video, Ferrugem reacted to the song Sintomas de Prazer by singer Ludmilla, saying: “She wants to be the pagoda trapper. She wants to be the stoner. And the kids all like her. Come on, slow down.” The speech did not go unnoticed and quickly generated a wave of reactions on social media, culminating in the response from Silvana Oliveira, Ludmilla’s mother.

‘I lose my admiration for you here’

The singer’s mother came out in defense of her daughter this Monday, the 18th. She used her Instagram profile to express her disappointment and respond directly to the pagodeiro’s words. “Rust, I have always respected you, I have always admired you as an artist. I lose my admiration for you here”, began Silvana.

Still in her response, the singer’s mother touched on sensitive topics such as representation and the fight against racial prejudice. “Seeing a black woman at the top is difficult. Just because you’re straight doesn’t mean your family deserves more respect than mine,” she highlighted. “The black girl is flying. It causes envy, it causes anger, it causes frustration in some people. That’s just how it is,” she concluded.

Silvana highlighted Ludmilla’s effort and dedication, not only as an artist but also as a person who has responsibilities and who fought to offer a dignified life for her family. “This stoner you are referring to, she also has a family. She has a grandmother, she has a mother and, through her talent, she managed to give dignity to her family,” she stated.
