When, on March 4th, the pause in the section ‘Extremamente Nasagratável’, by Joana Marques, was announced on Rádio Renascença (RR), someone was quick to write: “luck for the famous”. The truth is that the reasons have never been well explained. The comedian herself was very vague: “I’ll be back one of these days. It won’t take me that long either”, he wrote. Now, the reason for the break in what is one of the most feared programs on the radio is simple: the comedian spent the last 15 days preparing the two shows that she will take to the stage this Friday and Saturday, March 22nd and 23rd. at Meo Arena, in Lisbon.
At issue is the new show ‘(Des)Confia’, which Joana Marques herself has already described as the “largest demotivation event in the world”, essentially a parody of the world of coaching and personal development. Both shows have been sold out for months, which led the comedian herself to express her concern. “You spent two days of this joke and then you’re surprised that your life doesn’t get better”he wrote on Instagram in December.
Remember that, when the pause of ‘Extremamente Nasagradável’ was announced (a section that airs during the program ‘As Três da Manhã’, on RR), Ana Galvão and Inês Lopes Gonçalves (the other animators of the format), they took the opportunity to joke about the situation. “Joana Marques decided to take a gamble and it will cost her dearly. For every day she doesn’t show up to work, Três da Manhã takes 100 euros from Joana’s salary to offer to a listener, at 8:15 am, at Renascença. every week, it’s 500 euros”they announced.
