Singer Leandro contracted dengue fever in Brazil: I lost about 5 or 6 kilos – Ferver

“I was in Brazil for practically two weeks and on the last day, before leaving, I started to have very high fevers”, he reveals.

Leandro, who contracted dengue fever, updated his followers about his health status.

“He’s still recovering. I was in Brazil for almost two weeks and on the last day, before I left, I started to have very high fevers”he began by saying, adding that he actually had to return to Portugal as he had a concert scheduled in the Azores.

“Day after day things got worse, I continued to have a high fever, some symptoms started to appear and I ended up realizing that I had been bitten by the dengue bug”continued the 36-year-old singer. And revealed: “I ended up losing about five or six kilos”.

Even with his health problem, the musician managed to go on stage and perform in the Azores. Now, he is at home resting.

“I’m fine, calm, recovering. Here I have some spots spread across my body. My body still hurts a little, my joints, my appetite is still very reduced, my skin feels strange… This doesn’t stick, it’s a mosquito that bites us. Now we just have to recover. I hope that by next Monday I will be well enough to start rehearsals because we have a concert on the 11th and I hope that I am already at 200%”he further said.

Finally, Leandro reassured the fans, ensuring that “everything is fine”.
