Work to combat dengue fever with the application of permethrin and UBV blockages continues in the neighborhoods

During the 19th to 22nd of March, activities to combat dengue were unrelenting, marking an extensive campaign to prevent and control the disease in several regions. Permethrin applications were carried out in areas of highest incidence, in addition to 46 blockages with UBV (smoke), in response to notifications of Dengue cases in the following neighborhoods: Jardim Klintiana, Centro, Pitangui, Jardim Floresta, Novo Horizonte, São Vicente, Jardim Glória, Caminho das Águas I and II, Belizandra, Alvorada, Centenário, Dona Flor, Vila Rosalina, Condomínio Flamboyants, Vila São Francisco, Vale do Sol, Alterosa, José Vilela, Morada do Sol II, Campestre III, Nova Era, Lavrinhas, Jardim América, Retiro, Jardim Europa, Vila Martins, Jardim das Acácias, José Moura Amaral, Cascalho, COHAB I, Tipuana I, Cruzeiro do Sul, Dona Odete, Santa Filomena, Campestre I and Serra Azul.

These measures not only have as their main objective the fight against dengue vector mosquitoes, but also to raise awareness among the population about the importance of preventive practices in their homes and social environments. Everyone’s collaboration and engagement are essential to contain the proliferation of the Aedes aegypti mosquito.
