Fiona Beal, a 50-year-old primary school teacher, pleaded guilty to killing and burying her boyfriend behind her house in the United Kingdom. The woman lured her partner into her room to have sex, tied him up and stabbed him, ending up killing him, explains the The Independent.
The teacher confessed that the attack on Nicholas Billingham was already planned and that she had bought a knife, a chisel and cable ties to carry out the crime. She initially pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter due to loss of control.
In March 2022, Nicholas Billingham’s body was found partially mummified. According to friends, the man had not been seen for four months.
According to the The Independent, Fiona Beal told friends and family that she and Nicholas Billingham had Covid-19 and needed to isolate. She then sent messages from Billingham’s cell phone saying they had split up because he was having an affair. However, the body was discovered in the garden and Fiona Beal was arrested.
The teacher’s crimes were revealed due to notes written in a diary found. Beal will be sentenced at the end of May.
