Actress Sophia Bush comes out as queer and reveals her relationship with former player – News

At 41, Sophia Bush decided to come out as queer and ‘open her heart’ about her romance with former football player Ashlyn Harris.

Eight months after divorcing Grant Hughes, whom she married in 2022, the actress gave an interview to Glamor magazine and spoke openly about her sexual orientation.

Assuming she is queer, the term she considers to be the one with which she best identifies, Sophia explains that her sexual orientation deviates from the traditional and normative standards of society. “I can’t say this without smiling, which is really good,” she confessed in the same interview.

The artist also admitted that now she finally feels like she can “breathe”. “I feel like I’ve been wearing a heavy vest for a long time. I didn’t realize how heavy it was until I dropped it,” she said.

Sophia Bush also revealed her romantic relationship with Ashlyn Harris, the former goalkeeper who was a two-time world football champion for the United States of America.

Sophia Bush, it is worth remembering, has a very successful career in acting. She was part of the popular series ‘One Tree Hill’, which aired between 2003 and 2012, and ‘Chicago PD, from 2014 to 2017.
