Dengue: public health emergency situation in Atibaia requires everyone to unite in the fight against the Aedes aegypti mosquito

As of this Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Atibaia recorded 1,767 confirmed cases of dengue out of 2,716 notifications made. Of this total, 883 cases were discarded and 66 are under investigation, and there is one suspected death and none confirmed from the disease in the municipality.

The City Hall has carried out a series of actions to prevent dengue and combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito, its transmitter. Among the initiatives are house-to-house joint efforts, land cleaning, activities in schools and raising awareness among residents.
