The State Department of Health (SES) received a donation of 446 items of furniture from the Environmental Institute (IMA), also a State Government body. The cabinets, drawers, chairs and tables will be used to renovate the administrative areas of the Central and Annex I buildings, as well as the medical offices of the hospital units.

“Several areas of the Health Department mobilized to collect the furniture provided by IMA. We brought 13 trucks full of items in perfect condition. This initiative is extremely important to improve working conditions and service to users of health units”, reinforces the SES Heritage Manager, Ademilson Hames.

The collection and transportation of donated permanent goods were carried out by SES employees. The joint action involved the Heritage Management, Information Technology Directorate (DITIG), Operational Support Management (GEAPO), Hospital Regional de São José Dr. Homero de Miranda Gomes (HRSJ), Hospital Santa Teresa (HST), Institute of Psychiatry (IPQ), Hospital Governador Celso Ramos (HGCR), Santa Catarina Rehabilitation Center (CCR) and Hospital Nereu Ramos (HNR).
