The Vida Portuguesa store in Chiado will reopen, in June, in the space of the former Ferin bookstore, on Rua Nova do Almada, which had closed last December. “There are evils that end in good. And, in this case, they are two evils that we will do everything we can to ensure that they have a happy outcome. We’re going to a space with a glorious history”, businesswoman Catarina Portas tells PÚBLICO, confirming the change of address of her brand’s first establishment, which had been operating on Rua Anchieta since 2006. The non-renewal of the contract for this store by the landlords forced Portas to announce, also in December, its closure. A few days later, it became known that Ferin had closed. Now, this space will house A Vida Portuguesa, which, in April, will return to Porto, with the opening of a store in the new Time Out Market, at São Bento Station.
