School Group organizes the initiative next week, with several actions in educational establishments in the municipality
The Moimenta da Beira School Group organizes Cultural Week next week. From March 25th to 27th, there are many activities planned in the institution’s schools (Secondary, EB2 and Basic in Moimenta).
Among them are awareness-raising actions about social networks, data protection and online addictions, an artistic music residency, a futsal tournament, exploration of robots, theater plays, a tribute to the poet Luís Veiga Leitão (born in Moimenta da Beira) and other activities that involve students.
Furthermore, next Wednesday (the 27th), the GNR, Civil Protection, the Moimenta da Beira Fire Department and the Special Operations Troop Center will present themselves in demonstrations of resources.
As part of the ongoing Cultural Week initiatives and in addition to awareness-raising actions, the Secondary School library hosts the “Expo Geo 2024” exhibition, which shows work carried out by students within the scope of the Geography subject.
The collection of used pens, batteries and light bulbs will also be promoted in school pavilions, in addition to another arts and visual education exhibition.
