After the success achieved in the first year, the Municipality of Vila Real renews the Project Click protocol, in partnership with EAPN Portugal. This project aims to provide participants with employability and requalification skills, opening the doors to a promising future.

The public presentation of this project took place on March 20th, with the presence of the technicians responsible for its promotion and around 30 people in situations of unemployment and social vulnerability, signaled through the Local Insertion Center.

The Councilor responsible for Social Action, Mara Minhava, expressed her support for this initiative, emphasizing that “The Click Project represents an opportunity for unemployed residents of Vila Real to achieve professional and personal success. The aim is to provide each participant with the necessary skills to gain their place, face challenges in the job market, and build a dignified future. We are confident it will make all the difference in people’s lives.”

The initiative, the result of an existing Cooperation Agreement between EAPN Portugal and IEFP, IP, aims not only at the employability of vulnerable groups but also at promoting corporate social responsibility. Structured into three phases, this is a journey of professional transformation and personal growth: in the first stage, candidates undergo an interview carried out by responsible technicians in order to establish partnerships with employers. After selection, for 4 months, participants will have individual and collective coaching sessions, in addition to professional mentoring, during which they will have the opportunity to develop communication and relational skills desired by employers. Finally, evaluation is carried out to measure the progress and impact of the program.

It is worth remembering that EAPN – European Anti-Poverty Network is the largest European network of NGO networks, including national ones, in the fight against poverty. Founded in 1990, in Brussels, it is present in 31 countries, including Portugal.
